Ross Tucker’s Hilarious LaVar Arrington Story

WASHINGTON — Ross Tucker played guard in the NFL for five years, spending time with four franchises in the process.

He finished his career with the New England Patriots, who he joined after time with the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys, but he broke into the league in 2001 with the Redskins and coach Marty Schottenheimer. That season, the best player along Washington’s front seven was LaVar Arrington, who made the Pro Bowl that year for the first time; he made it the two subsequent years, as well.

Before Arrington made the Pro Bowl behind a team-high 82 tackles, despite playing just 14 games, he met the 22-year-old Tucker, fresh out of Princeton.
