Ryan Fitzpatrick says Tom Brady showed him 'zero respect,' wouldn't shake his hand

Longtime NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick sounded off on Tom Brady during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast this week, saying Brady had "zero respect" for him and wouldn't shake his hand after games. 

Fitzpatrick recalled the Bills' 34-31 win over the Patriots in 2011, when Brady threw four interceptions. Brady "just ran straight off," Fitzpatrick said, explaining that he had extra motivation every time he faced Brady from that point on.

"It bothered me so much because there was no respect there," Fitzpatrick said. 

Unfortunately for Fitzpatrick, he would finish just 3-9 against Brady, but some of his wins were memorable. 

Along with the 2011 victory, Fitzpatrick and the Jets beat Brady and the Patriots in overtime late in the 2015 season, a loss that would ultimately cost New England the No. 1 seed in the AFC. 

Fitzpatrick also got the last laugh when he faced Brady for the final time. In a win he called "especially sweet," Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins beat the Patriots 27-24 in Brady's final regular season game with New England. The loss forced the Patriots to play on Wild Card Weekend for the first time in 10 years, where they would lose to the Titans.
