We all know how involved New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis is in his community. This past week proved that once again. He attended some girls high school football action.

Of course, he brought some attention to the sport that it deserves. With that, he challenged part of the country to sanction the sport. 39 states have not done so in the United States. He does not agree with that.

Demario Davis made a strong statement to state leaders regarding girls football.

Davis discussed how much he supports young women's football and the local football scene in an interview with Chris Dodson, too.

You can tell that Demario values the sport in a unique way. He wants as many athletes to enjoy it as possible.
