The New Orleans Saints made a wholesome decision last offseason. They reunited with legendary tight end Jimmy Graham.
Graham was a useful red zone target at times this past season. Additionally, he was an energetic ic leader in the locker room.
Graham posted a heartfelt 'thank you' message for the Saints fan base on Wednesday morning.
The veteran tight end may be on his way to retirement. At 37, he's one of the oldest offensive players in the NFL right now. He's played in the league for thirteen seasons.
Six of those seasons were in New Orleans. During his time in black and gold, Graham compiled 392 receptions, 4,791 receiving yards, and 55 touchdowns.
In totality, Graham caught 719 passes for 8,545 receiving yards and 89 TDs during his professional career. Not to mention, he showed incredible leadership during every stop in his career.
Graham will go down in history as one of the top tight ends of this generation.
Saints fans will remember him forever, and he will do the same for him.
