The New Orleans Saints are certainly banged up. In Week 15, almost every team in the NFL is dealing with a plethora of injuries.

One major loss over the past couple of weeks was wide receiver Rashid Shaheed. He suffered the injury on the first play against the Atlanta Falcons

Luckily, it sounds like Shaheed will return to the field for the Saints on Sunday. Shaheed says that he'll be back against the New York Giants.

Both Shaheed and Taysom Hill both practiced on Wednesday. Neither player practiced at all last week. That's another great sign.

Shaheed is an important piece for the Saints in multiple ways. He's a unique offensive weapon that can stretch the field and get touches out of the backfield. His speed is special.

On special teams, he's one of the best returners in the NFL. He's currently in second for Pro Bowl voting at punt returner.

The Saints will need to be able to pass the ball much better than they did in Week 14 if they want to beat the Giants on Sunday. New York's run defense will be stingy. Derek Carr needs a strong performance, too.

Shaheed's return is a big plus for New Orleans in Week 15.
