Aiyuk has been a hot topic of discussion this offseason after he and the 49ers could not agree in their contract talks about a possible extension, which has led to speculation of what teams would be interested in adding the star receiver. While he remained with the team through free agency, it’s looking more and more likely that we could see a big-time trade happen in the draft sending Aiyuk to another squad.
While Samuel has also been a name brought up in these rumors, it seems unlikely that the 49ers would be willing to deal away one of their best offensive playmakers.
