Sarah Taylor, Bengals HC Zac Taylor's wife, starts Damar Hamlin campaign involving 40 Cincinnati grade schools

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor's wife, Sarah, has organized a heartwarming campaign involving 40 Cincinnati grade schools to support Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

According to ESPN's Ben Baby, the campaign began at Cardinal Pacelli, the Catholic school where the Taylors' four children attend. The school's principal, Terri Cento, discussed the efforts with ESPN.

"The city of Cincinnati really does rally around problems and things that happen, and this is just one example of how this tragic event happened, but so much positivity has come from it," Cento said, per Baby.

According to Baby, Cento added that upon return from their Christmas break on Wednesday, students at the school started on their get-well cards.

The fourth-year Bengals coach was among those to visit Hamlin at the UC Medical Center late Monday night after the 24-year-old suffered cardiac arrest during the Week 17 "Monday Night Football" game. The contest was postponed and will not be resumed this week. An announcement on whether it will be resumed hasn't been made yet.

Reports on Thursday morning regarding Hamlin's condition were positive, as the team tweeted that physicians said that he had shown "remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours." On Thursday afternoon, further details indicating just how much Hamlin has improved were revealed when doctors at UC Medical Center said that the defensive back asked — via writing — who won the Week 17 contest upon awaking.
