The Seattle Seahawks were just able to escape a bit of a scary game against a feisty Arizona Cardinals team to stay in a good position in the NFL West and stay in the playoff race.

The game wasn't pretty, but it did seem like Seattle was in control from early in the affair, and the Seahawks had a few guys step up at the right time to make just the right impact.

While a lot of people will talk about first-round wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR Jake Bobo also needs a lot of praise for his performance in this game.

Based on what we've seen so far this season, if you told most people that Jake Bobo and JSN would lead the Seahawks in receptions and receiving yards in this game, they would probably believe that it ended in a loss.

It wouldn't be the most outlandish belief. JSN has done very little all season and Bobo was more of a feel-good story about a guy working his ass off.

That didn't matter.

After weeks of showing grit and pushing himself in games and in practice, Bobo finally saw the payoff for all his hard work.

A four-reception, 61-yard, touchdown game is pretty damn good for a guy that was a long shot to make the final roster a few months ago. Hell, that is good for any wide receiver on an offense like this one that wants to run the ball and spread the ball out to a lot of different weapons.

That didn't matter. The slow 40-yard dash didn't matter. At the end of the day, the undrafted rookie wanted it more than everyone else on the field, and the win and final stat line show this clearly.

With a little over a quarter of the season gone, it has been clear that Jake Bobo was one of the unsung heroes on this roster. Now, it seems like a whole lot more people will be singing Bobo's praises from this point going forward, and that is absolutely deserved.
