Seahawks put WR Tyler Lockett, RB Alex Collins on reserve/COVID-19 list

The Seattle Seahawks have won their last two games to creep back into the NFC playoff picture. At 5-8, their chances at a postseason berth are still on life support, and an already difficult road tilt against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams just got a lot more tricky.

Lockett is the team's current leader in targets (93), receptions (62) and receiving yards (1,023). He ranks second on the team in receiving touchdowns with five, trailing only D.K. Metcalf (eight).

Since a Week 10 clunker where he posted just two catches on eight targets for 23 yards, the 2015 Pro Bowler has gathered 19 receptions for 421 yards and two touchdowns over the last four games. Lockett has five games of at least 100 receiving yards this season and he crossed the 1,000-yard benchmark in receiving yards for the third consecutive campaign with his effort last week.

With normal starting running back Chris Carson only able to suit up for four games this year before going on season-ending injured reserve, Collins has been a part of a rotating group of players in the backfield. Through 11 games -- including six starts -- Collins leads the team in rushing attempts (108) and rushing yards (411), while scoring twice on the ground as well.

In the team's Week 14 victory over the Houston Texans, oft-injured former first-round pick Rashaad Penny erupted for a career-high 137 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.

The Rams and Seahawks are scheduled to play at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
