Seahawks release rookie CB Kemah Siverand after he was caught sneaking woman into team hotel
The Seattle Seahawks aren't taking any chances when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, and Kemah Siverand paid the price for his actions.
Seattle released the rookie cornerback on Wednesday, and now NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is reporting that it's because Siverand was caught on camera bringing a female visitor into the team's hotel.
Siverand signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State on May 4. In two seasons for the Cowboys, he played in 26 games. He attended Texas A&M before transferring to Oklahoma State.
Seattle now has 76 players on their active roster following Siverand's release.
