Welcome to Mock Draft Mania! We’re running a contest between now and the end of the week between six of our writers, who will each be dropping their very best Eagles Mock Draft. Pitted against each other in a bracket-style tournament, YOU get to decide the winner by voting on our Twitter page! Make sure you give us a follow @PhiladelphiaSN to stay tuned!

With the first round of voting now over and Bryan Cameron cruising through to the next stage, it’s time to pit Nick Faria against our founder Liam Jenkins.

*Nick has promised to buy Pizza for everyone if he wins.

Round 1 Pick #12: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

The Eagles could trade up to get a guy like Kyle Pitts. They could draft a Wide Receiver. They could draft a defensive lineman and set the entire city on fire. Jaycee Horn is a safe pick that I think the entire fanbase would be ok with.

Horn is 6’1″, and is an ultra-aggressive corner. That would be a great fit for a team that is in desperate need of a #2 corner.

It’s not Pitts or Chase, but the selection of Horn would bolster a position that Philly fans have been desperate to fix.

TRADE: Round 1 Pick #23: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

My prediction is that the Eagles trade up to the 23rd pick (originally owned by Joe Douglas and the Jets) for their 37th overall pick (2nd round) and the 70th pick (3rd round).

In doing so, the Eagles take the best available Wide Receiver available. Rashod Bateman is a stud.

He has solid hands and is a good route-runner to pair up with a deep threat like Jalen Reagor. The Eagles know they need to surround Jalen Hurts with as much talent as possible and Bateman can fill the X void that Nick Sirianni continued to hint at in this week’s presser. He’s got size, physicality, and would finally add some long-term security to the position.

Round 3 Pick #84: Josh Myers, C, Ohio State

The Eagles need to find Jason Kelce‘s replacement in this draft.

Josh Myers has a ton of upside and had a great career at Ohio State. He has the leadership skills needed to anchor to an experienced OL. While he isn’t the most athletic Center in this class, the one coach Eagles fans should trust to get the most out of their players is Jeff Stoutland.

Eagle fans would be very happy with this pick.

Round 4 Pick #123: Josh Kaindoh, DE, Florida State

Howie Roseman can never pass up a chance to draft an injury-prone player with tremendous upside.

Josh Kaindoh was one of the top recruits out of high school in 2017, but has dealt with injuries for the majority of his career at FSU.

Kaindoh would be excellent against the run and has a legit size to be a solid contributor on a defensive line with a plethora of edge rushers.

Round 5 Pick #150: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma St.

This would be my favorite pick of the entire draft.

Hubbard has a ton of carries in his college career, and pairing him up with a player like Miles Sanders would be ideal for an offense desperate for an identity.

Hubbard has solid vision, and is very good in the passing game as well.

This really would be an awesome pick.

Round 6 Pick #189: Sam Ehlinger, QB, Texas

Because the arrogance of Howie Roseman and Jeffery Lurie is running rampant within the organization, they are 100% drafting a QB this year.

It was stupid when Lurie said the franchise needs to be “QB developers”. It was even worse when Roseman said the team was a “QB factory”.

Ehlinger isn’t a bad pick here. He’s more of a mobile QB, without the best arm and average accuracy. The Eagles will take him because of course they will.

TRADE: The Eagles trade their two other sixth round picks, and the 240th overall pick (7th round) to Baltimore for a 2022 5th round pick.

Round 7 Pick #234: Ta’Quon Graham, DT, Texas

The Eagles end their 2021 draft with an athletic project in Ta’Quon Graham.

Graham has a solid first step and would add some needed depth in the interior defensive line with Fletcher Cox now at 30 years old.
