The Los Angeles Rams have already made a couple of signings in free agency, which started yesterday, and they could very well make a few more.

One of the areas in which the team needs help is in the secondary, as they were bottom five in the league this past season in passing yards allowed. One free agent that could be a good choice would be Washington Commanders free agent cornerback Kendall Fuller.

Despite not playing the final two games of the season, Fuller still had a solid year for being 29 years old. He finished with 79 total tackles this past season, just three less than his career-high that he set back in his third year in 2018.

Fuller is a veteran who can be put anywhere on the field that you need him. He obviously plays corner, but he has a good amount of experience at safety, which means he can be mixed around depending on the defensive set.

He could also provide another veteran presence that the Rams would benefit from having. Aaron Donald provides that for the defensive line, and Fuller could provide that for the secondary.

As young as the defense of the Rams is, having a veteran to look to for guidance is always a good thing.

Whether the Rams decide to sign a free agent or get some help in the draft, the secondary is a part of the team that needs to be addressed if they want to make the playoffs and contend next season.
