In the NFL offseason, the Baltimore Ravens have strengthened their squad by signing the former Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry . The RB spent eight years with the Titans and achieved big in the league. Hence, the Ravens will expect him to show his iconic experienced character in the team.

The signing of Derrick Henry has been welcomed by a lot of fans and analysts. Some of them predicted that the Ravens could become invincible in the coming season with the service of the newly appointed RB. Skip Bayless, also predicted that the Ravens would win the Super Bowl next season with Lamar Jackson on one hand and Derrick Henry on the other.

In the latest episode of the show, Undisputed, the veteran analyst claimed:

This was a win the Super Bowl move for the Baltimore Ravens. I'm going to go right on the end of a limb and pick them to win next year's Super Bowl. And I know there is a little decline because he is still human, but even at 30, he's a difference maker. He is, in now, the perfect spot with a quarterback who can run the read option like no other. Skip Bayless said

Derrick Henry has good numbers in his career. In eight years, the RB registered more than 9000 rushing yards with 45 rushing touchdowns. He is second in the chart in rushing yards. Last season also, he had a stupendous performance. The RB covered 1,167 yards and had 280 receptions. Safe to say, he was the second-best right after Christian McCaffrey. His age too does not seem a big problem for the Ravens.

Derrick Henry will take the pressure away from Lamar Jackson, believes Emmanuel Acho

Apart from Skip Bayless, Emmanuel Acho also believes that the deal will be helpful for the Ravens. He said that the RB would take the pressure away from Jackson. The Ravens quarterback poses high rushing yards every season and this time Henry will take some pressure on him.

Acho stated:

What Derrick Henry does, he adds one or two more years to Lamar Jackson's career. Think of quarterbacks effective and efficiently running the football. Think about Mike White, in his prime. Cam Newton his prime, Robert Griffin III, think about his prime. Acquiring Derrick Henry allows Lamar Jackson to take the trade of his tier. Emmanuel Acho said

The analyst further brought up the longevity of Lamar Jackson on the team. He noted that due to this, Jackson would be in the squad for one or two more years as this would take the rushing pressure away from him.
