Arizona Cardinals S Budda Baker Joe Rondone/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

Arizona Cardinals defensive back Budda Baker was a late addition to the injury report prior to this past Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Baker was dealing with an illness and while he played through it, he had a big concern during the game.

Baker woke up sick on Sunday, but managed to get through it without incident. He told reporters on Thursday that he had been concerned about soiling himself during the game while wearing the team’s all-white uniform.

Baker would not be the first to deal with this sort of problem, though it would have been a very visible one had the worst-case scenario come to pass. Fortunately for him, he avoided that embarrassment.

The Cardinals lost the game, but Baker managed five total tackles despite his issue. Presumably, he will be feeling better for Sunday’s showdown with the Chicago Bears.
