BETHEL PARK, PA – March 1, 2024 – The new Coen Market convenience store at 5281 Library Road, Bethel Park, PA, will host a special, “Celebrity Pump,” event for area residents, Saturday, March 2, 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., when Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive end Cameron Heyward and his brother, Steelers’ tight end Connor Heyward, will pump gas and greet Coen Market guests when they visit the location.

A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening Celebrity Pump event will benefit The Heyward House, which was launched in 2015 to impact the lives of youth in the Pittsburgh region. Cam was recently awarded the 2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year by the National Football League for his charitable work.

“We are honored to work alongside Cam and Connor for this very special event,” said Charlie McIlvaine, CEO, Coen Markets, Inc. “On behalf of all of our employees across all of our locations, including this new Coen Market in Bethel Park, we are committed to the community, so this is just one way we can support the good work The Heyward House is doing for so many families across the area.”

The new, Bethel Park Coen Market is the family owned chain’s 56th across the region and its first ground-up location in the company’s history, which dates back to its founding in 1923. The new 5,100 sq. ft. location employs more than 30 area residents and features an in-store kitchen offering an expanded menu, such as freshly grilled, fried, and baked menu items-to-order, as well as breakfast offerings, made-from-scratch fried chicken and pizza. In addition to the Celebrity Pump event, customers will enjoy a variety of prizes and giveaways through March 3 to celebrate the Bethel Park grand opening.

Until March 5, customers who fill up their gas tank at the new location will receive a discount of .50¢ off every gallon on their next fill-up. This offer is available only through the Coen app.
