Could the Pittsburgh Steelers stick with Matt Canada as their offensive coordinator past this season? While many have speculated his time with the team will come to an end with the season's close, one radio host believes he's got a chance to stay.

The belief is that Canada's contract runs through the end of the 2023 season. Afterward, he could sign a new deal, but the chances of that seemed slim with the offense's struggles. However, 93.7 The Fan's Dorin Dickerson believes that if the Steelers can get things going with quarterback Kenny Pickett, they will extend Canada's contract.

"If Kenny figures it out a little bit and this offense stays the way it is right now, Canada will get a new contract," Dickerson said.

Steelers insider Mark Kaboly of The Athletic actually agreed with the claim, stating in a recent mailbag that he believes Canada's time will come to an end unless Pickett finds his groove.

Right now, the Steelers offense is finding it's identity on the ground, rushing for over 200 yards in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. Through whatever way possible, Pittsburgh is 6-3 with a chance to win the AFC North this season.

Pickett has had some signs of progress and remains a threat late in games. In the last two weeks, however, he's failed to reach 200 yards in each game and has thrown just two touchdowns in the last five weeks.
