Steelers HC Mike Tomlin sends message to team after JuJu Smith-Schuster's milk crate challenge

JuJu Smith-Schuster continues to make headlines for the wrong reasons.

The Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver attempted the dangerous milk crate challenge earlier this week with the NFL regular season being less than two weeks away. He could've been seriously injured, and Mike Tomlin isn't happy about it.

When asked about Smith-Schuster taking part in the challenge, the Steelers head coach sent a strong message to the team, saying if players are more focused on social media challenges, then they're setting themselves up for failure.

The 24-year-old was also criticized last season for constantly using the popular social media app TikTok. After the Steelers would beat a team away from Heinz Field, Smith-Schuster would dance on the opposing team's logo, which is highly disrespectful.

Once fans started begging for him to stop, the Steelers told Smith-Schuster to put an end to the antics. Clearly, he hasn't listened, as he frequently posts on TikTok.

Smith-Schuster is entering his fifth season in the NFL. In 16 games last year, he had 97 catches for 831 yards and nine touchdowns. The Steelers will be hoping he can eclipse the 1,000-yard mark in 2021, which he has only done once in his career.
