The Pittsburgh Steelers have ruled nose tackle Montravius Adams as questionable to play in this Sunday’s Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals, the club announced in its final injury report on Friday.

Adams has been dealing with an ankle injury since the team’s Week 9 win over the Tennessee Titans. He was a limited participant all week leading up to the Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but did not suit up in that game.

This week, Adams was a full participant in both Wednesday and Thursday’s practice, but was limited on Friday leading into his questionable designation.

Keeanu Benton has been starting at nose tackle in Adams’ place and will likely do so once again if he’s unable to play. Armon Watts has drawn into the lineup as the sixth defensive lineman.

Three injured Steelers players were not given injury designation for the game, and are expected to suit up.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is set to return from a weeks-long absence for a hamstring injury. He was a full participant in practice all week.

Wide receiver and punt returner Calvin Austin III, who suffered an ankle injury late against the Bengals, was a full participant in practice on Friday after being limited on Thursday and missing Wednesday.

Cornerback James Pierre, who played last week after being listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. He did not practice on Thursday and was limited on Friday but is again exception to play.

Additionally, wide receiver Dionate Johnson, who missed practice on Thursday with an illness, returned to practice on Friday and is set to play.
