The Pittsburgh Steelers fell in Cleveland today, losing on a last-second field goal against te Browns.

In a hard-nosed AFC North contest, Pittsburgh actually leaves the game in pretty good shape on the health front.

But they are now down another player at a position that was already very thin:

Steelers Postgame Injury Report:

  • Elijah Riley: Riley left the game and was ruled out fairly soon after with what Coach Tomlin called a high ankle. The injury also shook up Cam Heyward, who was visibly uncomfortable for the rest of the game although Coach Tomlin had no injury update for him.

With Pittsburgh already down two safeties, this injury looms large. The Steelers desperately need Minkah Fitzpatrick back if they want to make any semblance of a run at the playoffs, but especially in light of this news.
