PITTSBURGH — The Steelers are a banged-up team heading into their Monday night clash against the Browns. Now, they have ruled out two players. Diontae Johnson (hamstring) and Anthony McFarland (knee) will not play. Adding more cause for concern, George Pickens had a hamstring injury. He was limited on Saturday and has no game designation, but that is something to watch throughout the game.

For Johnson, it was expected he would not play. He did not practice all week, and Mike Tomlin noted that they would wait as long as they could until they decided on his injured reserve status, given the injury and the possibility that he could come back early. But he is a nonfactor this week. In other injury news, the Steelers have some promising trends.

James Daniels logged a full practice after suffering an ankle injury. The Steelers starting right guard appears excited and ready to play. Meanwhile, Larry Ogunjobi, who did not practice on Friday, practiced fully on Saturday, and he will play despite being limited by a nagging foot injury. Pat Freiermuth practiced fully with a chest injury and will play.

As far as other news, Chuks Okorafor has cleared the concussion protocol. On Saturday, he registered a full practice and appears ready to play against the Cleveland Browns. Left guard Isaac Seumalo returned to practice after he was given a veteran day off.
