Pittsburgh Steelers right guard James Daniels returned to practice on Tuesday after missing two weeks with a groin injury. Daniels was injured in the team’s Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, though he was able to finish that game.

He then missed all of the next two weeks of practice and each of the team’s next two games, with Nate Herbig replacing him at right guard. In the Steelers’ only practice scheduled for this week, Daniels was able to return in some capacity, as seen in this video. The Steelers are not required to release injury reports with full or limited designations during their bye week practices.

Elsewhere on the practice field, defensive tackle Cam Heyward and wide receiver Diontae Johnson were running under the watchful eye of head coach Mike Tomlin and the training staff. Johnson, who is dealing with a left hamstring injury, said that he will return when the Steelers get back to action in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Heyward is expected to miss more time with his injury. He was thought to need eight weeks to recover after his Week 1 injury and ensuing core muscle surgery, but said he feels like he will return sooner than that timeframe.
