The Pittsburgh Steelers continued re-stocking their offensive line depth with the singing of tackle Le’Raven Clark of Friday, according to a report by Jordan Schultz of The Score.

Clark, 29, is another one of assistant general manager Andy Weidl’s former proteges with the Philadelphia Eagles. Clark spent a season and a half with Philly from 2021-22, before being signed off the Eagles’ practice squad by the Tennessee Titans last September.

The 6-foot-5, 319-pound Clark appeared in 13 games as a backup tackle with the Titans and made two starts. He also played in four games and made one start with the Eagles in 2021.

Before his time with the Eagles, Clark played for four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts from 2016-20 after joining that team as a third-round pick out of Texas Tech in 2016.

Clark has played left tackle (445 snaps), right tackle (392 snaps), right guard (318 snaps) and jumbo tight end (69 snaps) in his NFL career, per PFF.

The Steelers have a need at backup tackle, as their 2022 swing tackle, Trent Scott, signed with the Washington Commanders as a free agent on Thursday. They have significantly added to the interior of the line previously in free agency, bringing in guards Nate Herbig and Isaac Seumalo.

Clark, Herbig and Seumalo all played for the Eagles while Weidl was the assistant general manager there.

All five of the Steelers’ staring offensive linemen from 2022 are under contract for 2023, so it appears that the team has its core eight players for this fall lined up, pending any additions from the 2023 NFL Draft.
