PITTSBURGH — The Steelers continue working at their OTAs on Wednesday, and the team is starting to gear up for their mandatory minicamp in the middle of June. However, that does not mean that Mike Tomlin is not fully present in the here and now because he very much still is at this point.

Regardless of how things are going, Tomlin has always kept a watchful eye on his players during practice, just like he does during the Senior Bowl and other activities. Today, he focused in on the inside linebackers as they went through drills with inside linebacker coach Aaron Curry.

Meanwhile, the cornerbacks worked as well. That includes rookie Joey Porter Jr., who is still working through his technique. With talent such as Patrick Peterson, Levi Wallace, Cory Trice, and others, Porter is trying to learn about the technique that coach Grady Brown tries to fine-tune his technique.

Regardless, the Steelers are still working as a whole as the team gels together with multiple veterans. The secondary has new moving pieces, adding both the rookies and seasoned veterans after losing Terrell Edmunds and Cam Sutton in free agency. However, the team expects to hit the ground running with the changes.
