PITTSBURGH — For several years now, the Pittsburgh Steelers defensive linemen have been wearing dress shirts under their uniforms for Friday practices.

They call them their work shirts, and on this Friday, it was veterans Cam Heyward and Larry Ogunjobi getting back to work, as they re-joined their teammates for practice.

Ogunjobi has been a limited participant while dealing with a foot injury, while Heyward did not practice at all on Thursday with a stomach issue.

Heyward, Ogunjobi and the rest of the defensive linemen were working on a loose ball drill and on batting down passes with defensive line coach Karl Dunbar during the individual portion of practice on Friday.

The Steelers will release their full injury report, with game availability statuses for Heyward and Ogunjobi, later on Friday, after both the Steelers and San Francisco 49ers have completed their final practice sessions of the week.

Heyward and outside linebacker T.J. Watt are both in the running to catch former outside linebacker James Harrison as the team’s all-time sack leader this season. Heyward has 78.5 career sacks, two behind Harrison. Watt is one back of Heyward with 79.5, setting up a race between the team’s two defensive captains.
