Steelers WR George Pickens already looks like a superstar

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver George Pickens already looks like one of the best players the team has drafted in years.

The 2022 second-round pick out of Georgia has made some sensational catches already this season.

However, one haul during the team's Monday night win over the Indianapolis Colts really got folks talking.

Pickens ran a beautiful route and caught a ball while moving sideways to adjust to the pass. He maintained possession as he fell to the ground, notching a huge completion for the Steelers offense.

It's just one of those catches you want to rewind over and over again and marvel at.

Pickens led the team in receiving yards on Monday, hauling in three catches for 57 yards. He and wideout Diontae Johnson look like a strong tandem going ahead for the Steelers at receiver.

Pickens already has 510 yards receiving and two touchdowns. With Pickens, Johnson, running back Najee Harris and tight end Pat Freiermuth, the Steelers have a nice offensive arsenal to help quarterback Kenny Pickett in the seasons ahead.

After perhaps landing a franchise quarterback in Pickett this past spring, the Steelers might've landed one of the league's next superstar wide receivers in Pickens.

If he keeps making catches like this, it won't be long until folks are wearing Pickens jerseys across the country.
