Stefon Diggs won't 'lie' about excitement heading into AFC Championship Game

Stefon Diggs has exceeded even the highest expectations anyone had when he was traded to Buffalo last offseason, leading the league with 1,535 receiving yards and being named an All-Pro for the first time in his career. And he's been just as good in the postseason, putting up over 100 yards and a touchdown in both games while helping the Bills reach the AFC Championship Game for the first time in almost three decades.

Now, the Bills are just a win away from the Super Bowl, and Diggs is not pretending like this is just another game for him. He knows how special of an opportunity this is and he told The Buffalo News that he plans to "lay it all out there" when he faces off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

"I’m not one of those people who’s gonna lie," Diggs said. "I feel like people say it’s gonna be another game and to each his own. But for me I know it’s a big game... You gotta lay it all out there."

Even with Patrick Mahomes potentially missing the game after suffering a concussion in the Chiefs' divisional-round win over the Cleveland Browns, the Bills will need a strong performance from Diggs and the rest of the offense in order to beat Kansas City. If Buffalo is able to beat Kansas City, it will be just one win away from its first Super Bowl in franchise history, in large part thanks to Diggs' incredible first season.
