The Kansas City Chiefs will welcome a franchise legend back to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night.

The Chiefs announced on Thursday that outside linebacker Tamba Hali would serve as the team's drum leader for the matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Hali is one of the most prolific pass-rushers in franchise history, which is fitting given how great the defense has been in Kansas City this season. His 89.5 career sacks and 33 forced fumbles rank No. 2 in franchise history behind Derrick Thomas.

In May of 2021, Hali officially signed a one-day contract and retired as a member of the Chiefs organization. Now, he'll return to help get Arrowhead Stadium hyped up ahead of the game, with the pre-game rally on the GEHA Drum Deck. He'll be joined by Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader, Chiefs Hall of Fame OL Tim Grunhard.

The Chiefs have a few other events planned ahead of kickoff on Saturday night.

Country singer-songwriter Kameron Marlowe has been tabbed to sing the national anthem while Kansas and Missouri State Highway Patrol Honor Guards will present the colors.

There is no current expectation of a flyover for the game.
