Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins isn't expected to play on Sunday against the Steelers according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He injured his shoulder in Week 2 against the Steelers.

Higgins was listed as doubtful on Cincinnati's official game status report, but head coach Zac Taylor was hoping the second-year wide-out would be able to suit up.

"Just the soreness level. Just shoulder, the soreness level, how much pain he feels. It's just things we've got to manage," Taylor said on Friday. "He's a professional. He understands what his body's got to feel like and so we'll give him every second we can give him."

If Higgins is out, look for Mike Thomas and Auden Tate to get more snaps with Ja'Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd leading the way at wide receiver.

The Bengals are also going to be without Trae Waynes (hamstring) and Xavier Su'a-Filo (knee) on Sunday.

The Steelers are going to be without some of their best players too. T.J. Watt (groin), Diontae Johnson (knee) and Alex Highsmith (groin) are all out.
