Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson had a rough Sunday in Chicago. Mike Dinovo-USA TODAY Sports

Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans were having a terrible day against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. How bad was it? Houston found itself down 30-7 at the half with  Mitchell Trubisky outplaying his counterpart in a big way.

It really is something considering all the talk around Chicago leading up to this game was the fact that it passed up on Watson for Trubisky in the 2017 NFL Draft. Unfortunately for the Texans quarterback, the day didn’t get any better in the second half.

Warning to all the men out there. Please make sure you’re not eating as you watch Watson on the ground in pain after being hit in the groin area by Bears linebacker Roquan Smith.

Ouch. There’s nothing good that comes from watching the hit. However, seeing Watson in pain holding on to his groin area is even more disturbing. The quarterback would exit this game before returning a few plays later. Talk about manning up.

As for Watson’s performance, he completed 16-of-23 passes for 177 yards with one touchdown and zero interceptions through three quarters. Despite this, Houston found itself down 33-7 heading into the final period.

Let’s just hope Watson is not in much pain after this game.
