Texans place RB David Johnson on injured reserve with a concussion

While Nick Chubb is set to return for the Browns, the Houston Texans will be without one of their running backs on Sunday against Cleveland.

The Texans announced Saturday that they have placed David Johnson on injured reserve after he left the team's Week 9 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a concussion.

Johnson was hit hard by Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack in the second quarter of Houston's 27-25 win over Jacksonville last weekend. He was replaced by Duke Johnson, who will also play in his place against the Browns.

The Texans also put linebacker Dylan Cole on injured reserve, while promoting running back C.J. Prosise to the active roster.

Johnson has 103 carries for 408 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
