Texans QB Deshaun Watson training with Justin Fields, Jordan Love

It's unclear if Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will be on the field, for multiple reasons, when the 2021 NFL regular season begins. However, he's training as if he will be.

Watson has been working out with Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields and Green Bay Packers signal-caller Jordan Love this summer. His agent, David Mulugheta, shared a video of the trio training together on his Instagram account.

For Fields and Love, it's a great opportunity to work with one of the best quarterbacks in football. Fields, the 11th overall pick in the 2021 draft, is currently Andy Dalton's backup in Chicago. However, he'll likely take over for Dalton at some point during the season.

Love, the 26th overall pick in the 2020 draft, is currently Aaron Rodgers' backup, but he could end up Green Bay's starter if the reigning MVP refuses to play for the Packers this season.

Watson, meanwhile, has indicated he doesn't want to return to the Texans and has requested a trade from the franchise. He's also dealing with sexual assault allegations from more than 20 women who say he engaged in misconduct during massage sessions.

NFL training camps are slated to open later this month, and all three quarterbacks have a lot of work to do leading up to that point.
