The Arizona Cardinals are unlikely to face one of the hottest receivers in the NFL.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter is reporting the Houston Texans are unlikely to have WR Noah Brown in Week 11, though the organization wants to test him out pregame.

Brown has pieced together back-to-back 150 yard performances for Houston, who currently sits in playoff position. Brown's 20.9 yards per receptions is tops in the NFL and he did not practice all week.

The Cardinals will be without their own big play receiver in Michael Wilson. More can be read here:

Brown initially entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick in 2017 with the Dallas Cowboys. He signed a one-year deal with Houston this past offseason and has previously missed four weeks with a groin injury.

First-year Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans has been impressed with Brown in 2023.

“Noah’s been outstanding,” Ryans said Monday. “He always seems to be open. Noah’s been a very reliable guy. He finds a way to make big-time plays for us week after week.”

Quarterback C.J. Stroud - who has pieced together quite the Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign - spoke highly of Brown, too.

“He’s been really intelligent,” Stroud said. “He is very smart. He comes from a different type of offense, but football is football, and he’s been able to just be a ballplayer. He feels coverage really well. He knows when to break. He knows when to cut things, and he blocks his tail off, too. I think that’s something he’s very, very great at, and that’s what kind of helps him get open in play-action and things like that. He’s been amazing."

Official inactives will be released 90 minutes prior to kickoff, which is set for 11:00 AM Arizona Time.
