The 2024 NFL Draft is less than a week away as teams prepare to welcome their 2024 rookie classes.

In a recent three-round mock draft, the New York Jets stayed at pick 10 and saw an elite offensive prospect land in their laps.

Round 1, Pick 10: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

Craig Strobeck-USA TODAY Sports

"If the board falls this way, I think the Jets would feel very lucky. They'd have their choice of two of the top pass catchers in the entire class with Washington WR Rome Odunze and Georgia TE Brock Bowers both on the board. I think both would be great options, but I have Odunze as my WR 2 in this class, and I think he would be a great complement opposite of Garett Wilson to form one of the best young WR duos in the NFL. And while they signed Mike Williams this offseason, he is only on a one year deal, so I don't think he should deter the Jets from adding a WR of Odunze's caliber."

If one of the top three WRs falls to the Jets at pick 10, I think it would be an easy decision for them to add that level of talent. In this mock, it was Rome Odunze. And that level of confidence in me picking the WR is why I think if this happens someone behind the Jets will try to trade up to pick 8 or 9 to secure the player for themselves. The Jets are going to go as far as Aaron Rodgers will take them, and with him coming off a huge injury, building a stacked WR room would help get the most out of the veteran QB.

Round 3, Pick 72: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston

If the Jets bypass the offensive line in the 1st round, they'll need to prioritize it in the 3rd. Especially with them not having a 2nd this year due to their trade for Rodgers. Houston's Patrick Paul is a high-upsdie option that needs some polishing on his technique. The Jets went the veteran route at OT this offseason, but with Tyron Smith set to turn 34 next season and Morgan Moses just turning 33, a young tackle for them to develop here would be the perfect pick.
