Three-must watch Steelers in Week 10

The Steelers (5-3) host the Packers (3-5) in their third straight home game. Here are three must-watch players for Pittsburgh in Week 10.

Najee Harris, running back

Harris has underwhelmed to start the season, posting just 382 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. However, the former first-round running back has a chance to turn things around against Green Bay on Sunday. The Packers are allowing the 10th most rushing yards per game (124) in the league, which certainly sets him up for a big day.

Of course, backup RB Jaylen Warren has impressed and will get several touches himself, but the Steelers won't budge on having Harris as their primary back. This one will likely be a low-scoring affair with Harris having the opportunity to control the game.

Broderick Jones, offensive tackle

Head coach Mike Tomlin said Jones, Pittsburgh's 2023 first-round pick, is "worthy of an extended look" after his impressive performance against the Titans in Week 9. However, the massive 6-foot-5, 311-pound offensive tackle will not be starting at his primary position of left tackle. Jones will play at right tackle as Chukwuma Okorafor is still benched for "acting out" in the Steelers Week 8 loss to the Jaguars.

It's a bit of a head-scratcher as the team drafted him to be its future blindside blocker but Tomlin believes Dan Moore Jr. is "much better" at left tackle. Nonetheless, Jones has a great opportunity to prove he can continue his dominance in the trenches and earn the right to be an every-week starter.

Kwon Alexander, linebacker

Pittsburgh lost LB Cole Holcomb to a season-ending knee injury in Week 9, which means a few players will see their roles increased to help fill his void. One of those players is Alexander, who will reportedly wear the green dot, which was previously worn by Holcomb.

Alexander has earned the right to be the "quarterback" of the defense after posting 41 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and a game-winning interception to begin the year. Linebackers Elandon Roberts and Mark Robinson will also see extended playing time, but Alexander seems to have the highest ceiling of the group.
