In honor of “Throwback Thursday,” this classic video has former New York Jets’ quarterback Joe Namath giving a drunk sideline interview where the point of the questions were to ask him his opinion of Jets’ quarterback Chad Pennington.

This interview even spawned a pretty popular website, which was created in large part by Namath indicating that he wanted to kiss ESPN sideline reporter Suzy Kolber.

Hence, Kissing Suzy Kolber.

Leave it to old Broadway Joe to check his class instead of his glass at the door. My respect to that reporter who kept it classy while putting up with Namath’s tacky comments rather than running for the hills.

As for Namath, he’s still around being Joe Namath.
