Diehard fans may be the only ones crazy enough to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Miami Dolphins in person at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

Saturday’s wild-card showdown is expected to be played in fluctuating temperatures that could dip below 0 degrees Fahrenheit.

The frigid atmosphere had some fans freaking out over how the cold could potentially affect the game itself. While the weather’s impact on the players remains to be seen, it’s already had a clear effect on ticket sales.

According to Gabe Schwartz of KCTV5, resale ticket prices for the Chiefs-Dolphins game have dipped to as low as $68 with several available for under $100. That’s in stark contrast with the other five Super Wild Card Weekend contests.

The Packers-Cowboys contest has the second-lowest baseline price at $103. The Rams-Lions matchup, which will be Detroit’s first home playoff game in 30 years, is the most expensive at $396 for the cheapest resale ticket.

The $68 price tag may continue to dip as the Saturday tilt between the Chiefs and Dolphins draws closer.

The football gods appear to be doing their best to hinder fans from watching the Chiefs-Dolphins game. Even out-of-market fans looking to watch from the comfort of their own home will have to cough up some extra dough unless they’re subscribed to Peacock.
