Titans LB Bud Dupree gets probation for role in Walgreens assault
Tennessee Titans defensive end Bud Dupree plead guilty to a lesser assault charge on Monday and was sentenced to six months probation for his role in an assault at a Walgreens back in January, TMZ Sports reported.
Surveillance cameras captured the incident last winter in which Dupree, 29, became involved in an altercation with a Walgreens employee. Footage shows the employee arguing with other individuals before Dupree joined the melee, then took the employee's phone and wrestled him to the ground. Dupree turned himself in to authorities in February after footage of the incident went viral.
Dupree will now serve six months of supervised probation, TMZ said. They added that he has also completed anger management classes and will have to pay $418 in court fees.
