The Titans went into the 2024 NFL Draft with multiple weaknesses, but there was none more glaring than the offensive line. With the seventh overall pick in the draft the Titans began to shore up its offensive front with the selection of OT JC Latham out of the University of Alabama.

Tennessee found a solution to its biggest problem coming off a season in which quarterbacks Ryan Tannehill and Will Levis both suffered injuries due to the lackluster protection. While the fanbase was split on using the team's first-round pick on a wide receiver or offensive tackle, it was a true win-win scenario for Levis.

It's clear that the franchise is committed to developing the second-year signal caller. Hiring an offensive minded head coach in Brian Callahan was the first sign of the team's investment into the former Kentucky Wildcat. Then came free agency additions such as C Lloyd Cushenberry, WR Calvin Ridley and RB Tony Pollard.

Levis has to be one happy camper after the team's offseason additions. And if his X account is any indicator, he's a big fan of Latham. In the post below Levis has already curated a nickname for the six-foot-six 342 pounder, who GM Ran Carthon plans to work in at left tackle.

The Trench King... I have a hunch that monicker just might stick.

If that wasn't enough, Levis FaceTimed the newest member of the Titans organization. In the call it's easy to hear the excitement in Levis' voice as he welcomed Latham to the team and to the city of Nashville.

It's a great day to be Will Levis but, with six more picks left at Tennessee's disposal, life is likely to get even better over the next two days.
