Titans RB Derrick Henry could miss rest of season with foot injury

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry will have an MRI on Monday to determine if a foot injury he sustained on Sunday is season-ending, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported early Monday morning.

The MRI will confirm if Henry has a jones fracture in his right foot, Schefter said. A jones fracture, which affects the fifth metatarsal of the foot, would require season-ending surgery.

Henry, 27, was spotted getting medical attention toward the end of the second half of Sunday's 34-31 overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He had 28 carries for 68 yards on the day.

Losing Henry would be a huge blow to the Titans. The Alabama product currently leads the league with 219 carries for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season and is the main weapon in Tennessee's offensive arsenal.

Schefter points out the Titans may need to trade for an RB if Henry is out for the rest of the season.
