T.J. Watt denies skipping exit interview with Steelers

T.J. Watt shut down a rumor that he was so unhappy with the Steelers that he skipped his exit interview, saying on Twitter that he met with coach Mike Tomlin, general manager Kevin Colbert and defensive coordinator Keith Butler.

Radio host Mark Madden was the one who started the rumor of Watt ditching the exit interview, saying that a source told him that the pass-rusher was frustrated with the team.

Watt is arguably the most valuable player the Steelers currently have. He led the NFL in sacks this season and helped make the Pittsburgh defense an elite unit. Watt not being happy with the team would obviously be a big deal, especially since he is entering the option year of his rookie contract and could be heading toward a massive new deal. Fortunately for the Steelers (and their nervous fans), Watt took to Twitter and basically said that the entire thing was made up.
