Tom Brady doesn't disagree with Bruce Arians' criticism following loss to Rams

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost two of their last four games, including a 27-24 loss to the Los Angeles Rams last weekend. Following the team's most recent defeat, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians was highly critical of veteran quarterback Tom Brady, who tossed two interceptions, including one on Tampa Bay's final drive of the game.

Brady was asked about his inconsistencies on Friday and agreed with Arians' assessment of his performance instead of placing blame on the coaching staff. Brady told reporters on Friday, according to the New York Post:

“Our job is to get the job done, so there’s no excuses for when we don’t get it done. At the end of the day, that’s the reality of the sport. It’s a production-based business, and when you have opportunities like we had in those two games, it’s very disappointing when you don’t [succeed], especially when you’re the quarterback and the ball is in your hands. It’s something I have to do a better job of.”

Arians has been pretty critical of Brady after every Bucs loss this season and, quite frankly, he has the right to be. In a season-opening loss to the New Orleans Saints, Brady tossed two interceptions. In a one-point loss to the Bears, he threw just one touchdown pass. In a blowout loss to the Saints a few weeks ago, he threw three interceptions. Against the Rams...another two picks.

If Brady struggles against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the six-time Super Bowl champion might be in even more trouble. With a loss to the Chiefs, the Bucs would own a 7-5 record and be in danger of missing the playoffs, which isn't something Jason Licht could've imagined when he signed Brady and his supporting cast of Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette and Antonio Brown.

Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET matchup should be a good one, so buckle up.
