Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady owns practically every meaningful all-time record at the position.

Aside from having the most Super Bowl victories, he also has the most games won by a player and the most games played by a quarterback.

He also holds all-time records in passing attempts, completions, touchdown passes, and passing yards.

As a sign of his excellence, his 13 straight playoff appearances are also the most by a player.

His teams are never out of the game, as proven by his 67 game-winning drives and 51 fourth-quarter comebacks as of the 2021 season.

But just when Brady becomes a fixture in the NFL record books, there’s also a quirky stat that he holds.

The NFL on CBS Twitter account shared the players aged 40 and above with the most receiving yards.

Hall of Famer Jerry Rice easily tops the list with 2,509, most of which occurred during his time with the then-Oakland Raiders.

However, Brady is a distant second with six receiving yards while Brett Favre has minus two.

Luckily, receiving catches isn’t Brady’s role with the Buccaneers.

He is there to facilitate the offense, and he has been excellent at age 43.

Brady threw for 5,316 and 43 touchdowns last season, marking the second 5,000-yard performance in his 22-season career.

Brady Continues To Build His Legend

The Michigan alumnus can still add to his numbers and records because he isn’t going anywhere.

He ended his retirement 40 days after declaring it and will suit up for his third season with the Buccaneers.

He already led the team to victory in Super Bowl LV and he wants more.

Luckily, his targets like Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette are back after signing three-year deals.

Add Mike Evans and Russell Gage into the mix and Tampa Bay should make another deep playoff run this season.
