Tom Brady, yet again, makes broadcasting, retirement plans clear

Tom Brady, again, vehemently denied that he'll be coming out of retirement to play in the NFL for a second time, during a recent interview with Robin Lundberg of Sports Illustrated.

Brady also said he hates to "continue to profess that cause I've already told people that lots of times" and he's "looking forward to (his) broadcasting job at Fox next year." He added that he's looking forward to the "opportunity" as part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and he's excited to spend "as much time with (his) kids as (he) can."

The latest TB12 speculation comes as a result of his joining a Raiders organization that includes scores of previous connections to his New England Patriots days (head coach Josh McDaniels, backup quarterback Brian Hoyer and general manager Dave Ziegler). More recently, it was reported that Las Vegas offseason acquisition and projected starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (another New England tie) underwent foot surgery in March and is still recovering.

Jimmy G.'s procedure has caused some panic amongst Raiders fans and led to a heavy increase in Brady chatter and talk of a potential second "unretirement."

It was reported on Wednesday that an NFL spokesperson told TMZ Sports that Brady could play for Las Vegas as a part owner if a vote among other NFL team owners passed.

"Two NFL-wide votes would need to happen in order for Brady to be a part of the Las Vegas ownership group and be under center at the same time," TMZ Sports reported.

For this to happen, the seven-time Super Bowl champion would have to receive approval from at least 24 of the 32 owners (three-fourths) to be finalized as part-owner of the Raiders. Brady would then, again, need approval from at least three-fourths of the owners to receive permission to play for Las Vegas.

If the three-time MVP sticks to his word, these votes will never be needed.
