With the final stretch towards the first signing day period coming, programs all over the country are scrambling last minute to get prospects on campus to showcase everything these schools have to offer.

UCLA is no different, as evidenced by a recent report focused on a talented defensive back from the Southeast region.

2024 DB Jaren Sensabaugh took to his Twitter account and announced that he'll be visiting UCLA officially this weekend. If the surname sounds familiar, it's because the young prospect is the son of longtime NFL safety Gerald Sensabaugh

The younger Sensabaugh hails from Ensworth High School in Nashville, Tennesse. He was a one-time commitment to Vanderbilt. However, the talented defensive back reneged on that pledge a few weeks ago.

Since then, a host of programs have been vying for Sensabaugh's services. Sensabaugh took a visit to North Carolina State last weekend. After flying to Los Angeles to check out Chip Kelly's program, he'll then head back East for back-to-back visits to Tennessee and Missouri, respectively.

Though UCLA hasn't technically offered Sensabaugh officially yet, we'd have to assume he'll pull in an offer this weekend considering the fact the Bruins are tripping him out across the country.

Sensabaugh is an intriguing prospect. He has a frame that can hold more weight. As he gets bigger and stronger, his speed should improve. Additionally, he's been learning from his dad -- a former NFL DB -- his entire life. This sort of pedigree can only help in aiding Sensabaugh's development moving forward.

UCLA should continue to bolster its depth at defensive back. In this current class, the Bruins have commitments from two other defensive backs. Michigan native Jamir Benjamin and local product Khristian Dunbar-Hawkins pledged to UCLA earlier in the recruiting process.
