Losing is not fun. Not at all. So, this week, the Buffalo Bills must win. Otherwise, what’s even the point?

Previously on Bills vs. Ravens…

Everyone remembers the last time the Bills and Ravens met, two seasons ago, in the Divisional Round. It is known as the day Taron Johnson literally steamrolled himself into Buffalo Bills history, becoming the star of a show that was supposed to be all about two of the best young QBs in the NFL. The game itself, was boring. I mean, yes, it was all about making history and that part was exciting. But the game itself? So boring, until Johnson. Weather played a big factor and, unfortunately, it looks like that could be the case again this week…

1.) Johnson takes it to the house again

The Buffalo Bills secondary looks awfully thin and Johnson is currently looking like the leader over there, so it’s safe to say he’ll be calling the shots. Why wouldn’t he show off his big man status by having a wild game and getting a tuddy? It only makes sense.

2.) Accountant Ken incorporates the run

I love me some Ken Dorsey. He’s psychotic, exactly my type. But he had our Lord and Saviour throw 63 times in scorching heat, something only a crazy person would do. I imagine his breakdown at the end of the game was largely due to his own chaotic-ness, which he may have taken a step too far.

So he’ll learn from it and finally give Singledaddy the 80 yard game he deserves. The Bills are lucky to have one of the best QBs in the game, but they also have a top 15 RB in the league too. Putting those two to work together is a recipe for disaster for that Ravens defence.

3.) #TurnstileHartSZN

The Bills are laden with injuries right now, so it’s Bobby Hart’s time to shine. I know we all have a little bit of annoyance in our hearts for Mr. Turnstile, but there’s a reason he’s always brought back onto the practise squad. Simply, the Bills are masochists.

However, Bobby will play a pivotal (

) role in Sunday’s game. Whether this will be good or bad remains to be seen. But I can guarantee it’ll be entertaining.

4.) Diggs and Davis: The Two Headed Monster

The WR core in Buffalo is So. Much. Fun. Unfortunately, in Miami this wasn’t exactly the case. Now, with even more harsh weather affecting the Bills this week, you would assume I would once again be worried. Well, you’re wrong. Ian is a dumb name for a hurricane, so therefore, it does not exist. It is that simple.

Buffalo’s version of Ol’ Nessie will combine for 300 receiving yards and 3+ touchdowns. Slingin’ Josh Allen will be back. After all, they played through rain at Arrowhead last year and were clearly the better team out there. I don’t see any reason why they don’t do the same here.

5.) The Von Miller Experience

Von Miller and his hungry disciples are going to make life extremely hard for Lamar Jackson. Obviously, the Ravens are going to throw everything Elam’s way. Or at least try to. Lamar won’t be able to stay in the pocket long enough to get the ball out.

Miller’s impact on this defensive line has been so incredibly obvious, it’s amazing. So I can say with absolutely no hesitation that Jackson will have more rushing yards than passing yards in this game. And he will be sacked more times than the Ravens offense score touchdowns. I am very confident on this. Please make bets. I highly encourage gambling.

6.) The Bills #abandonthepunt

I will say this each and every week.

No. Punts.

What does the almanac say about the winner?

I love Lamar Jackson and the Ravens and firmly believe that they, along with the Chiefs, are going to be worthy opponents for a long time. But this season? This season belongs to the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills will leave Baltimore with a 3-1 record. Maybe they’ll even leave the field in the fourth quarter with that W firmly in their pockets. At least the starters will be able to get some rest.
