T.Y. Hilton: Andrew Luck is 'having the time of his life' in retirement

Some people think Andrew Luck will make an NFL comeback. Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton says otherwise.

Hilton just signed a one-year, $10 million deal with the Colts and is still pretty close with Luck. Speaking with reporters on Thursday, Hilton said Luck's chances of returning to the NFL are slim to none.

"He's just enjoying his vacation," Hilton said, according to TMZ Sports. "I probably have to stop calling him for a bit. He might make me want to retire!"

A reporter then asked if Luck's vacation was permanent. The 31-year-old replied, "Oh, permanent. He's having the time of his life."

Colts owner Jim Irsay also believes Luck will not come out of retirement. He said in February that the quarterback is "more retired now" than he was a year-and-a-half ago.

Luck announced his retirement from the NFL in August 2019 due to the mental and physical toll that injuries had on him during his career. The 31-year-old ended his career with a 53-33 record, 60.8 completion percentage, 23,671 yards and 171 touchdowns. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and won the 2018 Comeback Player of the Year award.
