The UCLA Bruins are set to take on the Big Ten conference this year, and they will do so with a brand-new coaching staff.

Former head coach Chip Kelly had been retained, only for him to leave the program for the offensive coordinator position with Ohio State. The Bruins were quick to find a replacement, promoting former running backs coach DeShaun Foster to head coach.

Foster has been busy filling out his new coaching staff this past month, and he has finalized the staff with four official additions.

The Bruins have officially announced Juan Castillo as offensive line coach, Erik Frazier as wide receivers coach, Marcus Thomas as running backs coach, and Ted White as quarterbacks coach.

Foster spoke to UCLA about the new additions, stating:

"We are building a staff of teachers. These coaches have picked up a diverse skillset from working on every level of football and they are hungry to share that knowledge with the players of our program. Their passion for the game and coaching reflects what we are actively instilling in our players – approaching everything they do with discipline, respect, and enthusiasm – and I am excited to watch them work together."

The Bruins will need to play tough to hang with the bigger teams in the Big Ten conference, but the hopes are now high with Foster and his new staff.

Time will tell if the program can bounce back and elevate itself over last year's success.
