Corey Dennis had spent nine seasons at Ohio State and was the quarterbacks coach since 2020.

Following the hiring of offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien, Dennis' role was expected to turn into an analyst role. He instead took an analyst role at Utah back in early February, and was going to be coaching at another program where his father-in-law Urban Meyer had some success during his coaching career.

However, he was only on the job for a couple of weeks before taking a similar position at Ole Miss. On Tuesday we learned he would not be sticking around in Oxford either, as he has since taken a position at Tulsa.

Dennis was hired as Tulsa's quarterback coach and passing game coordinator as revealed by an announcement by the team.

A tough loss for both Utah and Ole Miss considering the recruiting savvy Dennis had, but an understandable move for the 31-year-old. Dennis was listed as the primary recruiter for five-star quarterbacks Quinn Ewers, Devin Brown, and Air Noland.
