The Conquest Collective, a leading University of Southern California Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) collective, started by Jeff McKay, grandson of legendary four-time national champion Trojan coach John McKay and backed by USC football legends like LenDale White, just signed an apparel agreement with the Los Angeles Football Network (LAFB). The agreement generates a revenue share for all players signed under Conquest Collective that launch an apparel line with LAFB.

The Conquest Collective describes itself as “a service-oriented collective that not only focuses on NIL opportunities but also high-quality mentorship opportunities.”

According to Jeff McKay, “This partnership is a great way for student-athletes to capitalize on NIL and “build their brand”. Our collective has set a goal of securing over $1 million in true NIL deals during the 2023 season and bringing on LAFB to build custom apparel brands for our student-athletes will help be a key next step in scaling our collective.”

Conquest Co-founder Manny Hernandez lll added, “After hearing the needs of current players, this was an area of NIL that they felt they could capitalize on. It also teaches them about entrepreneurship and gives the families the ability to support their loved ones through name, image, and likeness by purchasing custom merchandise.”

The Los Angeles Football Network is Southern California’s fastest-growing digital sports content platform as the only network dedicated exclusively to Los Angeles’ four major football brands, the most of any city in the country.

“Partnering with Jeff and Conquest made so much sense given we could merge their access to players with our expertise of knowing what makes the USC football follower tik,” said Ryan Dyrud, LAFB Founder & CEO. LAFB has 3M+ monthly video views and 150,000+ monthly podcast downloads with its flagship show airing weekly on Friday evenings on The Mightier 1090AM ESPN Radio.

With a dedicated merchandise store, LAFB also specializes in creating customized apparel for athletes and coaches “at the intersection of soul and swagger – where we create imagery, language, and design that tries to simultaneously capture the essence of the players and their fans,” according to LAFB Co-Owner, Jamal Madni.
