Just days after defensive lineman Isaiah Raikes, the USC Trojans take another blow along the defensive front. Per reports, Stanley Ta’ufo’ou is officially entering the NCAA Portal.

USC Trojans Lose Experienced DL To Transfer Portal

The 6’2″ 275 lbs Simi Valley native joined the Trojans in 2019 and played a limited amount as a true freshman. In 2023, he played the second-most snaps among defensive linemen behind just Bear Alexander. Statistically, Ta’ufo’ou didn’t set the Trojans’ world afire, but his experience won’t be easy to replace. The larger picture shows that the Trojans have a lot of work to do to get the defensive line up to snuff in time for the 2024 season.

Defensive line coach, Eric Henderson, has already acquitted himself well up till now as a recruiter. He has his work cut out for him in the spring portal term.
